RBD Took Part in Conference on Far East Development Projects
OREANDA-NEWS. May 06, 2011. S.Krjukov, Chairman of the Board of RBD took part in the conference “Vnesheconombank: the Far East Development Projects” in Khabarovsk. The conference was organized by State Corporation “Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)”, reported the press-centre of RBD.
S.Krjukov reported on RBD’ SME Lending Support Program. According to S.Krjukov the total limit set for the Far East Federal District within the Program amounts to RUB 4.5 billion. The Program is implemented in all regions of FEFD. S.Krjukov said that the production of basalt fiber in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) can demonstrate the effectiveness of lending support under “Financing for Innovations and Modernization” Program.
The Head of RBD informed about the prospects of RBD Program in FEFD. The Bank will focus on financing SME infrastructure support entities, development of innovative economy sector, SME support via the Direct Investment Fund “MIR”, joint projects with the Fund for Development of the Far East and the Baikal Region. RBD will prioritize SME support in the main regional industries (fishing industry, forestry and tourist and recreational complex) introducing customized products as well as in foreign trade with neighboring countries.
The conference was attended by Alexander Levintal, Deputy Plenipotentiary of the RF President in FEFD, Vyacheslav Shport, Governor of the Khabarovsk Kray, Anatoly Ballo, Deputy Chairman of Vnesheconombank, and representatives from FEFO and the Baikal Region.
