OREANDA-NEWS. May 06, 2011. Under Article 28 of No.135-FZ Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” of 26th July 2006 FAS Russia received a petition of “SIBUR – Minudobrenia” OJSC about acquiring over 25% voting shares of “Cherepovetsky Azot” OJSC (Registration No. 17516 of 5th April 2011), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Governed by Article 33 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) made a decision to extend the period petition consideration for two months in order to obtain additional information to evaluate the impact of the transaction on the state of competitive environment on the market of mineral fertilizers.

Interested persons can present information to the antimonopoly body as to how the above transaction can affect the state of competition.
