OREANDA-NEWS. May 03, 2011. Tashkent hosts “Uzbekistan Healthcare Week – TIHE”Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- “Uzbekistan Healthcare Week – TIHE” started in Tashkent on 27 April. The week will include several large-scale events in healthcare sector.

In particular, Uzexpocenter will host three exhibitions – the Sixteenth Tashkent International exhibition “Healthcare – TIHE 2011”, the Sixth Central Asian pharmaceuticals exhibition “AptekaExpo 2011” and the Seventh Uzbek International stomotology exhibition “Stomatology Uzbekistan 2011”.

The week is organized by international exhibition company ITE Uzbekistan, member of UFI, and its partner I.T.E. Exhibitions & Conferences Ltd (Great Britain).

According to the organizers, over 140 companies from 26 countries are taking part in the international exhibitions. They are representing such countries as Belarus, Great Britain, Hungary, Germany, Egypt, India, Iran, and others.

The organizers said that about 56% of TIHE 2011 participants are regular exhibitors and other 44% are debutants. The ratio of national companies to foreign ones is 40% to 60%.

Exhibition “Healthcare – TIHE 2011” occupies central place among exhibitions. The exhibition annually reflects modern problems in medicine, directions and trends in healthcare system development in Uzbekistan.

Among TIHE participants are leading European, world and Uzbek producers, including BTL zdravotnicka technika (Czech Republic), Drager Medical GmbH, WEINMANN (both Germany), Innomed Medical (Hungary), etc.

Number of the Uzbek exhibitors, which offer medical and lab equipment, also increased this year. Among them are FPI Delivery Service, Magnum Medical, Tibbiyot Dunyosi, Intermed Innovations, Skymed Group, Global Impex, and others.

One of peculiarities of TIHE 2011 is large number of diagnosis equipment and tools, computer tomographs, EKG monitors, ultrasonic imaging, reanimation blocks and equipment, which were presented at TIHE.

The Sixth Central Asian pharmaceuticals exhibition “AptekaExpo 2011” presents medicaments producers. The exhibition is attended by such companies as Alfa Wassermann (Italy), El Razy pharmaceuticals (Egypt), Neda Mahya (Iran), Woo Shin Medics (South Korea), Popisan (Russia).

Bepbiofarm will present national exposition of Belarus producers – Bepmedpreparati, Borisov Medicaments Plant, Minskinterkaps. The Chinese exposition will present pharmaceutical producers for the first time. Mfs - Servis, Rota Pharm, Asklepiy, Radiks, Zamona Rano will represent Uzbekistan at AptekaExpo 2011.

Stomatology Uzbekistan exhibition will present stamotology equipment and tools, dental equipment and materials. The exhibitors are showing video-presentations, which presents latest technologies in tooth treatment, prosthesis, etc. This will help to improve skills of experienced and new doctors and specialists in this area.
