OREANDA-NEWS. May 03, 2011. The Expert-analytical group for issues on the functioning of the oil and petrochemicals market and refining industry attached to the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry has recommended for traders to comply with the new oil price band - not more than 10.0 UAH per liter of petrol A-95 and 9.6 UAH per liter of diesel.

The Chairman of the meeting the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Yuriy Boyko oil called on traders to be responsive to the recommendations of EAG, stressing that the Government has fulfilled his promise and reduced the excise duty on petroleum products.

Participants agreed that the next meeting of the Expert-analytical group on the functioning of the oil and petrochemicals market and refining industry holds in mid-May 2011.

As earlier said Yuriy Boyko, the situation on the oil market requires from all participants opportunities to fuel pricing.

"We are watching for price situation on oil markets. Today, world’s countries take measures to stabilize fuel prices and to prevent unfair competition in the market. There are challenging times in the country, today it is when you can not use the situation of global growth in oil prices to make enormous profits, earning on a citizen of Ukraine", - said the Minister.
