OREANDA-NEWS. April 29, 2011. The Bank of Moscow has become aware that attempts have been made to sell the assets acquired at the expense of the loans extended by the Bank of Moscow or the assets that have been provided in pledge for the loans extended earlier by the Bank of Moscow.

The Bank draws attention to the fact that such offers should be viewed as unfair and not made in good faith and officially notifies potential buyers of the risks underlying the acquisition of such assets.

Should the borrowers fail to perform under the obligations pertaining to said loans, the Bank of Moscow and the VTB Bank, the major shareholder, will prosecute the new owners of said assets in accordance with the procedures set forth by law and take recourse against said assets irrespective of the circumstances accompanying their acquisition.
