OREANDA-NEWS. April 29, 2011. Starting from 1 May International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) is introducing a new service.

The IBA reports that from 1 May during payment of purchase by Visa Electron, Visa Classic and Visa Gold banking cards issued by IBA a certain percentage from the purchase price is charged to the cards in the form of bonus points. This service is available within BonusClub formed by the bank including a little over 50 stores.

" The main difference of bonus service from the ordinary discounts is that bank card holders do not only get bonus points in payment for purchase but can also pay for the purchase with gathered bonus points ",- Head of the press-service Rauf Agayev noted.

The chain of stores and business services covered by BonusClub where wined bonus points can be earned and spent include: network of perfume shops Sabina(provides 5% of bonus from purchase price), Aztime Watch network of shops (10%), Optic Gallery (15%), network of stationery shops Nil Kitab-Kэrtasiye Sarayi (5%) , Skylife Travel travel agency (3%), Boutique Palace  hotel (10%), cake.az network of cafй-confectioneries (3%), The Wine Gallery Mey wine boutique (3%), household utilities shop Kenwood (10%), cafe Mado (5%), restaurant Trattoria L’Oliva (10%), shops of fashionable clothes and accessories for men and women Koton (3%), Pink Accessories (3%), Piacente Boutique (10%), Pierre Cardin (10%), De d’Or AS (5%), Sel Home (3%). At that the charged bonus is equal to AZN 1.

More information on the list of trade enterprise and service providing enterprises , BonusClub’s members and number of gift bonuses can be found on the Bank’s Internet page and special ad materials.

"Accrued bonuses can only be used in non-cash sale and purchase operations in trade and service enterprises included in BonusClub network as they can not be cashed through ATMs. When paying for the goods or services in a shop or restaurant the client should tell the cashier of his intention to pay for the purchase in bonus points. If the number of bonus pints is not enough to pay for the service the rest of the sum can be paid from card account. Additional bonus points are not charged when paying by bonus points ",- R. Agayev said.

At the initial stage the function of bonus saving and spending will be available to Visa Electron, Visa Classic and Visa Gold card owners ,issued by IBA except pension, customs and business cards.

"The Bank is working over considerable expansion of BonusClub’s network and at present negotiations are underway with a few supermarkets, drugstores and food service enterprises. Also works are carried out for expanding this service to pension card owners ",- R. Agayev said.

He also called for heads of trade and service enterprises to join BonusClub.
