OREANDA-NEWS. April 29, 2011. The Health Care Reform is allowed to differentiate and increase wages of doctors. The Prime Minister said this during his working visit to Oleksandrivskyi hospital in Kyiv.

"Very important direction of reform is an opportunity for doctors to earn more - depending on the quality of services which he provides to patients. This is, in principle, allowed to differentiate wages and increase it by providing quality services", - the Prime Minister told. He added that the existing health system is outdated and does not satisfy the needs neither doctors nor patients. Therefore it is necessary to reform it. According to him task of reforming of the national health care is to create a system that introduce affordable and quality medical care, significantly improve disease prevention and reduce the number of serious diseases: heart attacks, hypertensive crises, strokes and so on.

"The budget, taxpayers are still paying for bed space, jobs, but the sense of reform - is to pay only for real, quality health services that provided health care system for people" - the Head of Government stressed.
