Co-ordination Committee, consisting of DTEK’s representatives, town mayors and heads of the districts, assess reports of the social programs’ implementation and their efficiency. Also this is a forum for experience exchange.
‘Ability to make money is a special gift. And this gift is given to a person only when he is ready to use it for doing good. I am happy that DTEK started its activity in Lviv especially with good deeds. Concerning the Declaration signing we have already started collaboration on the Education and Science Festival and on healthcare projects. I believe that DTEK will set a good example for all large Ukrainian enterprises, proving that the gift of money making is given when there is a gift of social responsibility and social partnership. DTEK must become a role model for all large businesses coming to Lviv and Lviv region. Participation in projects like this really makes a company better’, - pointed out Andriy Sadovyi, the Lviv Major.
‘The business can achieve its strategic goals only by using a systematic approach to building mutually beneficial long-term relations between the business and the society, developing the regions of its operation, ensuring environmental protection, health and safety of its employees. We are striving to make our contribution to social development systemic, transparent and consistent. We are glad to see that the number of participants joining DTEK’s Social Partnership Declaration is increasing every year and that joint projects bring tangible results’, - Alexander Tolkach, Director for External Affairs of DTEK, said.
‘Zakhidenergo together with DTEK, its largest private shareholder, is starting cooperation with the communities of the regions where our employees live and work. This cooperation will help to lay a solid foundation to resolve the accumulated problems and build a system of control over quality and efficiency of the social partnership programs being implemented’, - Vladimir Mazyar, Acting General Director of Zakhidenergo, said.
