OREANDA-NEWS. April 28, 2011. The "pilot zone” for the development and implementation of the project - JSC" IDGC North-West”, JSC “MOESK” and JSC”Lenenergo”.
The grid companies of JSC "Holding IDGC" intend to create a system for managing of resources for emergency and recovery operations. Was signed the corresponding order of “Holding IDGC”, under which was defined the "pilot zone” for the development and implementation of the project - JSC" IDGC North-West”, JSC “MOESK” and JSC”Lenenergo”.

The system is supposed to be used in case of accidents and emergencies in the distribution grid complex 6-110 (220) kV, as well as in normal mode. It is an automated software system, formed on the basis of geo-information platform.

The implementation of the system will be carried out in several stages. The first stage, before the end of 2011- to create a geo-informational system for the following objects -  the air power lines and substations 35 kV and above (geographic location, the main technical characteristics); emergency and mobilization stock of equipment, materials, mobile teams.

The main aim of the project is to increase the efficiency of emergency and recovery operations in case of massive failures on air power lines 35 kV and above, requiring the involvement of other companies of Holding IDGC.
