Moldova Sold Shareholdings of 4 JSC
OREANDA-NEWS. April 28, 2011. Particularly, 80 percent of shares of the Farmacia Buiucani nr.465 JSC (sale of pharmaceutical products) were sold for 5.064 million leis: 230186 were sold at 22 leis per share, it was informed at the Moldovan Stock Exchange.
Sale of 35.017 percent of shares of the Chisinau Arhproiect JSC (project works) brought 624 thousand leis to the budget. 208 shares of this JSC were sold at 3,000 leis per share. 60.121% of shares of the bookstore Ciuleandra JSC (Soldanesti) were sold for 70.9 thousand leis (11818 shares were sold at 6 leis per share) and 0.34 percent of shares of the Fabrica de produse lactate din Cimislia JSC (sale of primary agricultural production) for 3.85 thousand leis. Shares of all four JSCs were sold at the initial price.
As it was reported earlier, the auction will be held at the Moldovan Stock Exchange during April 27-29. The Agency for Public Property with the Ministry of Economy put up for sale the state’s shares in 36 JSCs. As most of these securities have been put up for the auction many times, their initial price was cut. Particularly, the state’s shares in a number of wine, tobacco, sugar, dairy, canned industries of the country, Eurocreditbank, Jolly Alon hotel, Glass Contaiter Company JSC, Cereale-Cahul JSC, enterprises Artmet, Agat, Raut, Apromas, Mioara JSC have been offered for sale. At the first in 2011 auction to sell the state’s shares that was held in February, shares of four JSCs in the total amount of 15.98 million leis were sold.
The biggest amount – 6.69 million leis – was earned from sale of 88.026 percent of the shareholding of the Incorgas JSC (gas supply networks construction). 92.5% of shares of the tobacco factory Nordtutun (Cupcini) were sold for 4.37 million leis. 4.8 million leis more were earned for the 31.9% shareholding of the Chisinau Monttehsan JSC. 13.848% of the state’s shares in the joint Moldovan-Luxembourg enterprise producing oil Volatil-West Company were sold for 100 thousand leis.
The state’s shares in 33 joint-stock companies were put up for the action. This year, the Moldovan government plans to earn 280 million leis from privazation.
