OREANDA-NEWS. April 28, 2011. The Prime Minister Mykola Azarov charged the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade to accelerate the work of the Agrarian Fund concerning forward purchase. The Prime Minister said this during the expanded session of Cabinet of Ministers.

“It's just irresponsible that concluded contracts for the supply are only of 440.6 thousand tons of grain crop of the future harvest”, - Mykola Azarov said, demanding to find out: who "spoil" this effective tool of state regulation, due to which consumers ultimately get enough products at affordable prices.

“Today the number one problem for the Government is to be prepared to minimize price fluctuations of food products”, - Prime Minister stressed.

According to him, it should be already now deploy the preparation of vegetable stores and elevators to the reception and storage the future harvest. “These issues must also be a priority in the activities of leadership of areas. The Government will strictly control it”, Mykola Azarov said.
