Rechitsa Hardware Plant Export to Czechia 12 Times up
OREANDA-NEWS. April 27, 2011. Over the last five years Rechitsa Hardware Plant has increased its export to Czechia by more than 12 times to about €1 million per month.
According to the source, Belarusian metalware accounts for 50% of its market niche in Czechia. The success is attributed to goal-oriented vigorous efforts the company has put into promoting its products. “I think the Belarus President urged Belarusian manufacturers to pursue such an aggressive offensive-minded foreign trade policy in his annual address,” said the Director.
With assistance of a trade representative a powerful advertizing campaign has been organized in Czechia. Rechitsa Hardware Plant even placed its logos on uniforms of hockey players as this kind of sport is most popular in Czechia, said Anton Vashkov. In his words, the company also initiated other non-conventional marketing tricks that have provided the desired result.
Advancing onto the Czech market, the company faced tough competition from local hardware manufacturers and those of the neighboring countries – Bulgaria, Romania, Poland.
“We underpinned our ads with high-quality products, reliable logistics and other necessary attributes of foreign trade that have determined our partners’ choice,” said Anton Vashkov.
Founded in 1912, Rechitsa Hardware Plant initially manufactured nails and wires. Nowadays the company is a recognized European leader in manufacturing special nails and fasteners, selling its products in virtually every European country. The company employs 2,000 people.
