OREANDA-NEWS. April 27, 2011. Belarusian OJSC Belaruskali’s potash fertilizer export increased 35.8% on the year in January-March 2010 to 2.39 million tonnes, a representative in the company stated.

The increase is attributed to the revival of the potash market after the global crisis.

The average price rose to USD 367 per tonnes in the first quarter, which compares to around USD 300 per tonne in 2010.

In January-March 2011, Belaruskali produced 2.379 million tonnes of potash fertilizers, up from 2.278 million tonnes in the same period of 2010.
