OREANDA-NEWS. April 25, 2011. "China Star Fund Award 2010", hosted by the Securities Times, was unveiled the other day. Two awards went to Bank of China Investment Management Co., Ltd. (BOCIM): "Long-term Returns Star Fund Company Award" won by "BOC Fund", and "Three-Year Continuous Returns Active Balanced Star Fund" won by "BOC China Balanced Fund", reported the press-centre of Bank of China.

As of the end of December 2010, BOCIM featured a growth rate of 34.94% in terms of public fund assets under management, ranking the second among the 35 medium and large fund management companies with assets under management exceeding RMB 20 billion.  According to Wind Info, BOCIM took third place in the industry with fund IPO size of RMB 15.807 billion in 2010.  More specifically, two balanced funds under BOCIM ranked top 10 stock funds and the company's bond fund won the second place in terms of IPO size.
