Burma Dagongshan Nickel Ore project Mining System, jointly invested by China Nonferrous Group and TISCO, was formally put into production, and the smelting system will be put into production within this year. This is new achievement that TISCO obtained in overseas resources development, after project completion, it will provide 85,000 tons of high grade ferro-nickel every year, which will effectively improve TISCO’s strategic resource control ability, reported the press-centre of TISCO.

Yang Haigui delivered an important speech on staff meeting of Burma Dagongshan construction held on that day. He said, the implementation of Burma Dagongshan nickel ore project, which is an important measure of TISCO hand in hand with China Non-ferrous Group to develop overseas resources, is of great significant for enhancing the overall strength of TISCO and China Non-ferrous Group, for alleviating the shortage of nickel resources, and for local economic development. In order to put the project into operation as soon as possible, most builders have paid great efforts and made a great sacrifice who are far away from home, and working in a hard environment, building the piece of barren land into a modern production base with complete facilities such as water and electricity, road, mining, smelting, transportation and various basic living facilities. We believe that with everybody's wisdom and industrious, Dagongshan nickel ore project can be sure built as an outstanding model project in world metallurgy industry.

Yang Haigui proposed three requirements on how to build and manage mine well: firstly, properly deal with relationships between project construction safety, quality, time limit and investment, elaborately organize project construction, equipment commissioning, project acceptance, to build the project into a model project with total safety, good quality, short construction period and little investment. Secondly, correctly handle relationships between related parties, especially strictly abide by the relevant laws and regulations, and pay respect to the different nationality's customs and enterprise culture, balance the interests of all parties, ensure standard operation, realize win-win cooperation. Thirdly, correctly handle the relationships between construction, production and life, make well construction and production, while improve workers’ life logistics, cultural entertainment, ensure employees’ health in body and mind, and realize nickel ore growing up together with workers.
