OREANDA-NEWS. April 22, 2011. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov called unfounded fears about the potential establishment Ukraine the state monopoly grain trader. Mykola Azarov said this in response to concerns expressed by the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Thomas Mirow during the bilateral meeting.

"Let us do not discuss about what does not actually have. The Government does not support the idea of the establishment state monopoly on grain exports", - he said.

The Prime Minister also said that if the Verkhovna Rada takes a decision on the establishment of state monopoly for export of grain, the Government will ask the President to veto this bill.
