OREANDA-NEWS. April 22, 2011. Parabank OJSC took part at prize-winners I award presentation ceremony of International contest "The best banks of GUAM - 2010" on the 30 of 2011. Solemn prize-winners award presentation ceremony took place in Kyiv. From 11 nominations Parabank won the recognition of "The most producible bank" in GUAM Secretariat, reported the press-centre of Parabank.

The director of Business development and Marketing Department F. Dadashov and the manager of International Relations division T. Qasimov represented Parabank. The prize was awarded by the authorized and extraordinary ambassador of the Republic of Moldova in Ukraine Ion Stefile. 173 banks took part in the competition. Three more banks together with Parabank presented Azerbaijan in the ceremony.

The representatives of Central banks, Bank Associations, GUAM countries, ministries and offices, accredited diplomatic missions, entrepreneurs and representatives of Mass Media were at the ceremony. We would like to note that GUAM is an international regional organization established by Azerbaijan Republic, Republic of Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine in the name of Democracy and Economic Development. This organization was established on the 10th of October 2007 by signing of quadripartite united communique in Strasburg and began its activity as a union of four states. As Valeriya Chechelashvili,  a general secretary of GUAM, mentioned, this event became the most important, because it is difficult to reappraise the value of  interbank cooperation in modern world.

Our aim is to establish more comfortable work conditions on GUAM's marketplace for our entrepreneurs. Parabank also was awarded with "The banks of 2010 of the CIS, Baltic and Georgia" in the nomination "The most dynamically developing bank" in the competition, organized by "Банкиръ" and "КБС-Издат" magazines. This contest was held on 10 nominations between 1220 banks of the CIS, Baltic and Georgia.

Solemn ceremony of awarding the contests's laureates was held in "Sofi's Grand Hall" conference hall of "Premier Palace". Our colleague was awarded by Urfan Davudov, economic adviser by Azerbaijan Republic's Ambassador in Ukraine. The aim of above mentioned contests is publication of GUAM's best banks'  achievements in accordance with the principles, adopted in world practice; the building of confidence to the banks of GUAM countries as  fundamental principle of their professional activity;
