OREANDA-NEWS. April 21, 2011. A new consignment of agricultural machines, the first one in the current year, has been recently delivered to the Turkmenpagta State Concern. These are 154 tractors and 204 trailers procured in accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan. Total of 500 Belarus-82.1 tractors and 1,000 2PTS-4-793A-03A trailers are to be delivered in our country in the near future under the contracts concluded with the Minsk Tractor Works Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Belarus and the Tashkent Tractor Plant Joint-Stock Company of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

As is known, modernization and strengthening of the material and technical basis of the agro-industry sector are the key aspects of the ongoing agricultural reform initiated by the national leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The agricultural fleet of the country is replenished with state-of-the-art high-powered machines and units manufactured by world’s leading producers through the Turkmen leader’s efforts. According to the Turkmenpagta State Concern, machines produced at the tractor works in Minsk and Tashkent have proven to be helpful assistants for Turkmen agricultural workers and have the excellent performance characteristics including operational reliability and work efficiency.

The rest of equipment purchased under the contracts is to be delivered in the near future and distributed among 35 ginneries of the Turkmenpagta State Concern that in turn will enable cotton growers to deliver a new harvest of ‘white gold’ in a timely and proper manner from cottons fields throughout the country.

The festivities were arranged to mark this event. It brought together specialists of the Turkmenpagta State Concern and public organisations, the elders and machine operators, who expressed profound gratitude to the Turkmen leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for his unceasing concern for the welfare of rural workers and his tireless efforts to promote the cotton industry and the agricultural sector of our Motherland in the epoch of ne Revival and great reforms.
