OREANDA-NEWS. April 21, 2011. Vnesheconombank’s report on sustainable development for 2009 was declared the winner in the nomination “The 2010 Best Debut in the Non-Financial Reporting on Sustainable Development” of the All-Russian Competition “The Best Russian Enterprises. Dynamics, Efficiency, Responsibility – 2010.

The Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs acted as the organizer of the Competition. The awarding ceremony was held as part the Russian Business Week 2011.

An honorary winner’s diploma was handed over to to Management Board Member – Vnesheconombank First Deputy Chairman Nikolai Кosov.

All in all, ten organizations participated in this nomination. The main criteria for evaluating reports were quality and reliability of disclosing information on sustainable development.

The All-Russian Competition “The Best Russian Enterprises. Dynamics, Efficiency, Responsibility – 2010” is aimed at identifying the most dynamically developing enterprises as well as at boosting sustainable development of Russian companies the activity of which is in line with long-term interests of business and contributes to the country’s sustainable development.

For the first time Vnesheconombank published information in a single document on Vnesheconombank’s contribution to securing economic sustainability, social well-being and ecological stability of the society. The release of Vnesheconombank’s non-financial report is in line with the principle of publicity which obliges Vnesheconombank to disclose information on its activity including in social and ecological spheres. The document was approved by Vnesheconombank’s Supervisory Board in December of 2010.
