OREANDA-NEWS. April 21, 2011. MCC President Wang Weimin welcomed the visiting team headed by Tian Dongping, Deputy Party Committee Secretary & Vice President of Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology. The both parties carried out thorough and extensive communication in terms of prompting the cooperation of production, study and research as well as further cooperation, reported the press-centre of MCC.

Tian Dongping introduced the outstanding achievements made by Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology in terms of scientific research, education and talent cultivation, briefed its development plan in the 12th Five Year Plan, new campus construction and the preparation for the 55th university anniversary, and expressed his wish to further strengthening the cooperation with MCC Limited and deepening the cooperation region and content.
Wang Weimin introduced the current production and operation conditions of MCC, highly appreciated the achievements made by both parties through university-enterprise cooperation, and put forward to strategic suggestions in terms of further strengthening communication and cooperation.

Wang indicated out that the university-enterprise cooperation was prospected in the light of the demands of new trend and new development, the both parties might innovate thinking to explore the study and research cooperation method, and strengthen the communications at different levels through optimizing resource configuration, information sharing and scientific research complementation, so as to realize technology breakthrough in such regions as green building, energy conservation and emission reduction as well as new materials, thus accelerating university-enterprise scientific research and talent cultivation and realizing win-win.

Tian expressed his acknowledgement to the strategic cooperation suggestions by Wang, and indicated that he would inform leading group of the university with the consensus reached in the talks, so as to prompt the cooperation and acquire bountiful achievements.
Participants of this meeting included Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology alumni association office director Sang Kuanxing and Science & Technology Department Chief Wang Chengjun, MCC director-general for Human Resources Lin Jinzhen, director-general for Administration Zhou Zhijun, and director-general for Science & Technology Yue Qingrui, etc.
