A thermal trial run was successfully completed for the high-precision aluminum sheet-strip continuous casting and rolling line (with an annual output of 250,000 million tons).This is the very first set of such device in China, the technical matters of which were contracted and the designed work was carried out by BERIS Engineering & Research Corp. (BERIS). On this ground, China’s very first continuous casting and rolling line, for which the Hazelett technology and equipment were utilized, has been formally put into operation, reported the press-centre of MCC.

The continuous casting and rolling line is capable of direct processing on the electrolytic aluminum liquid, which is featured by quite a few market competitive edges such as short technical process, wide coverage on products, perfect product quality, energy conservation, emission reduction and sustainable development.

The abovementioned facility is the worldwide widest production line, with an international advanced technical level. The completion and commissioning line will play an essential part in the upgrading of the aluminum processing industry, and has filled the technical gap of China in this industry. After the project commissioning, both the product quality and the price will turned out to be more competitive. And this will drive Chinese aluminum processing industry to move forward in a specific and technical-intensive manner, and accelerate the technical advancement of Chinese aluminum processing industry.
