OREANDA-NEWS. April 21, 2011. It took place after the respective decree of the National Energy Regulatory Agency passed on 15th of April this year was published in the Monitorul Oficial.  

According to the National Energy Regulatory Agency’s decision, the tariff for electric power for domestic consumers of the RED Union Fenosa company, connected to the low-voltage networks was increased by 15 bani or by 11.3% - from 1.33 leis to 1.48 leis for a kilowatt/hour. The tariff for electric power for consumers of the RED Nord and RED Nord Vest grew 14 bani or 9.8% - from 1.43 to 1.57 leis for a kilowatt/hour.

At the same time, the Agency for the first time fixed the differentiated tariffs for electric power for final consumers depending on the voltage of the electricity distributing networks they are connected to.

The new differentiated tariffs are applied to three categories of consumers: those connected to the networks of high voltage of 35-110 kilowatt, networks of medium voltage – 6-10 kilowatt and low voltage – up to 0.4 kilowatt.
