Law on State Budget of Moldova for 2011 Has Come into Force
OREANDA-NEWS. April 21, 2011. The document, published in the Monitorul Oficial, fixed the budget revenue in the amount of 19 billion 087.18 million leis; expenses – 20 billion 354.07 million leis with the deficit amounting to 1 billion 266.89 million leis (6.64% of the revenue item).
As it was reported earlier, the Parliament passed the Law on the state budget for this year on March 31, 2011. The state budget revenue in 2011 will grow 11.2% in comparison with 2010, expenses – 8.3%. The consolidated budget deficit is expected to total 1 billion 595.8 million leis (1.9% of the country’s GDP) in 2011. In 2010, it was 1 billion 778 million leis (2.5% of the GDP).
The budget deficit covering source this year will be funds from sale of state securities, assistance from foreign donors, incomes from privatization. The Law on Moldova’s state budget for 2011 was elaborated given the projected 4.5% GDP growth, 7.5% inflation, 14% increase in exports and 13.5% increase in imports. The average annual exchange rate of the national currency is projected to amount to 12.4 leis/USD.
