OREANDA-NEWS. April 20, 2011. Belarus’ gross domestic product (GDP) expanded 10.9% on the year in January-March 2011, an official with Belarus’ National Statistics Committee stated.

Industrial output in January-March increased 11.8% on the year to 49.818 trillion rubles.

Farm output rose 5% to 4.912 trillion rubles.

In 2010, Belarus’ GDP grew 7.6% on the year to 163 trillion Belarusian rubles. Industrial output amounted to 161.9 trillion rubles, up 11.3% on the year. Farm output increased 2% to 30.8 trillion rubles.
