OREANDA-NEWS. April 20, 2011. PetroChina's second largest oilfield, Changqing oilfield, produced 10.83 million tons of oil and gas in the first quarter, an increase of 24.5 percent year-on-year, reports 163.com, citing a company filing.

The Daqing oilfield, PetroChina's largest, recorded output of 10.04 million tons during the same period.

PetroChina plans to increase the output of Daqing oilfield to 50 million tons by 2015.

PetroChina is China's largest public listed oil and gas producer.
