OREANDA-NEWS. April 20, 2011. Admiral Ushakov Maritime State Academy hosted the meeting concerning bunker services provision and towage assistance in the seaport of Novorossiysk, reported the press-centre of Rosmorport.

According to the meeting decision, the tugging and bunkering services market representatives were recommended to abide by the terms of contractual relations while services provision. Moreover, organizations implementing services in the seaport of Novorossiysk were recommended to “follow the requirements of the federal law dated 08.11.2007 on the seaports of the Russian Federation concerning provision of equal access to the seaport’s infrastructure and to the services in the seaport and hereafter do not let the displays of unfair competition and other activity to happen, leading to the loss of the seaport’s commercial allure”.

The event was led by Victor Olersky, deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation. The meeting also included Igor Rusu, the FSUE “Rosmorport” General director, Federal Agency for Marine and River Transport Head’s deputies, representatives of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Azovo-Chernomorsky basin branch, Azov and Black seas basin seaports, Krasnodar Territory Transport Department, the Novorossiysk administration, controlling and supervising organs of Krasnodar Territory and enterprises of marine transport complex.

The meeting participants headed by V.A. Olersky inspected the ferry terminal construction site in the seaport of Kavkaz, the seaports of Tuapse and Sochi and discussed the seaport of Taman dry cargo area construction.
