OREANDA-NEWS. April 20, 2011. Particularly, income tax receipts constituted 27% (2 billion leis) of the total amount of incomes, it was informed at the Chief State Tax Inspection.

As of April 1 this year, the Chief State Tax Inspection received 108,703 natural persons’ income statements, 62,441 – legal entities’ income statements and 23,283 united accounting statements. According to the presented tax documents, 120 citizens got incomes of over 1 million leis in 2010, against 142 in 2009 and 183 – in 2008.

The biggest sum, earned by a natural person in 2010, exclusively from the salary, totaled 6 million leis. A citizen also got over 26 million leis of incomes from the alternative sources. In 2010, tax officers applied sanctions in respect of 20,155 individuals in the amount of over 1.9 million leis for the untimely submission of the income statements. In the first quarter of 2011, 5,708 persons were fined in the amount of over 480 thousand leis.
