OREANDA-NEWS. April 19, 2011. Uralmashplant has shipped four KMD-2200T6-D crushers for Metinvest (Ukraine). The crushers shall be used at Severnyi and Inguletskiy GOKs owned by the holding. The other two intermediate crushers KKD-1500/180 for Severnyi GOK are being manufactured.

The KMD-2200T6-D crushers (fine cone crushers with 2200 mm crusher head base diameter) are intended for production of ultrafine crushing product, their capacity being 1,6 times higher while energy consumption per one ton of ore is 20 % less as compared with the majority of crushers operating recently at various GOKs of the CIS countries.

It is planned to carry out complex tests of crushers together with the customer. In accordance with the test results the decision about the use of machines manufactured by Uralmashplant for further reequipment of mining and concentrating plants in Krivoy Rog will be made.
