OREANDA-NEWS. April 19, 2011. The rotary hearth furnace under Lubao Steel Tube Project of Yantai Baosteel Steel Tube Co., Ltd. was put into commissioning. This facility was contracted by CISDI Industrial Furnace Company, a subsidiary of CISDI Engineering Co., Ltd. (CISDI), on an EPC basis. The first batch of steel products was smoothly produced and perforation was successfully fulfilled, reported the press-centre of MCC.

With a medium diameter up to 48m, this facility is regarded as the largest rotary hearth furnace in China. This is the 3rd industrial furnace commissioned by CISDI under Lubao Project. Quite a few advanced technologies are employed for this furnace, for instance, the low-carbon and energy-conservation nozzle, advanced controlling technique and energy-saving equipment.

The main products of the furnace include: oil filled bushing, high pressure boiler tube, pipeline tube, tube for high-pressure vessel and petrochemical tube.
