OREANDA-NEWS. April 19, 2011. Capt. Wei Jiafu, President and CEO of COSCO Group, met with the Greek delegation headed by Mr. Haris Pampoukis, Minister of State of the Hellenic Republic. Both parties exchanged views on COSCO's business developments and the status of the COSCO-invested PCT project. The discussion was conducted in a friendly and positive manner, reported the press-centre of COSCO.

Captain Wei thanked the Minister for the support he and the Greek government rendered to COSCO's collaboration with Greek shipping community. The Minister said that the Greek Government supports the efforts and the investments of COSCO, which contributes to the further development of Greek Economy and creates greater perspective of turning Piraeus to a transshipment hub in Southeastern Europe.

The meeting was also attended by Greek Ambassador to China H.E. Theodore Georgakelos and Capt. Xu Minjie, Vice President of COSCO Group.
