OREANDA-NEWS. April 19, 2011. Sergey Krjukov, CEO of RBD took part in the meeting of the Coordinating Council on interaction between institutions for development and interested organizations in the area of continuous financing of innovative projects of SMEs at all stages of the innovative cycle. The meeting was chaired by Vladimir Dmitriev, Vnesheconombank Chairman, reported the press-centre of RBD.

The participants discussed the accomplishments of the institutions for development in 2010. The major outcome of the joint efforts was support to over 70 innovative projects totaling RUR 20 billion. In order to increase the number of projects moving through different levels of the “innovative lift” the Council intends to create a data base on the all supported projects.

The attendees appraised the RBD work aimed at development new instruments of support to innovative companies. In particular in 2010 RBD launched a new program “Financing for Innovations and Modernization” designed to improve accessibility of the borrowed funds for innovative SME. “Interaction of institutions for development enabled RBD to widen the range of credit products and to create a Direct Investment Fund supporting innovative SMEs. We hope that the Fund operations will attract attention to its establishing, inter alia using the resources of the parties to the Agreements”, said S.Krjukov.
