OREANDA-NEWS. April 18, 2011. Ingosstrakh OJSIC has paid 1 million rubles to Zashchitnoe LLC, located in Shchigrovskiy district of Kursk region, in connection with the fire.

Real estate of Zashchitnoe LLC was insured in Ingosstrakh OJSIC in June 2010. Insurance coverage for total amount of 9.9 million rubles was provided for buildings with total area of 8 661.20 sq. m.

In October 2010, fire occurred on the territory of the plant, it was occasioned by short-circuit failure of wiring inside the premises of warehouse. Fire destroyed the warehouse building No. 1 of total area of 972 sq. m. After the expert examination, the accident was considered an insurance case, and Ingosstrakh OJCIS paid indemnification to agricultural enterprise in accordance with the terms of the contract.

The insured property was a subject of pledge of Kursk regional branch of Rosselkhozbank OJSC within the loan received.

Since 2007, Ingosstrakh OJSIC and Zashchitnoe LLC have been cooperating in the field of agro-industrial insurance. This time, the insurance has been provided for real estate units, agricultural machinery and equipment, livestock.
