OREANDA-NEWS. April 18, 2011. The events will take place on 21-23 September 2011 at the Atakent Exhibition Centre. The exhibitions will present the national stands of Australia, France, Norway, Finland and one of the federal regions of Russia.

MiningWorld Central Asia, Kazcomak and KazMet are the main platform in Kazakhstan and Central Asia for the meeting of the global mining and metallurgical, machine building and road construction industries. So far, the national stands of Australia, France, Norway, Finland and one of the federal regions of Russia have confirmed their participation. The event is organised by the Kazakhstani exhibition company Iteca, together with its international partners from Germany, UK, China and Turkey.

The forum will once again bring together several specialised events: MiningWorld Central Asia, the Central Asian International Mining and Processing of Metals and Minerals Exhibition; Kazcomak, the Kazakhstan International Heavy Construction & Machinery Exhibition; and KazMet, the Central Asian International Metallurgy, Metal-Working and Machinery Construction Exhibition.

The MiningWorld Central Asia, Kazcomak and KazMet exhibitions hold leading positions among the business events in the industry, and have become a key business platform for industry professionals. The professional body of exhibitors and constant improvement of the level of service have received well-deserved recognition from visitors, which is shown by the increasing percentage of exhibitors (180% compared with 2009) and visitors.

By participating in international exhibitions in the industry and communicating with leading professional associations, the MiningWorld Central Asia team has managed to interest industry colleagues in cooperation in the promising Russian market. After several successful meetings with an Australian industry association, we can look forward to significantly greater participation from southern hemisphere companies in 2011.

In 2011, the interest in the exhibition from French companies has increased substantially, with the French national stand 20% larger than last year. The national stands of Norway and Finland, which traditionally take part in MiningWorld Central Asia, have also increased their areas compared with 2010 (by half).

Compared with 2010, the number of countries represented has increased, with India being added to last year’s list of countries.

Since their launch, the exhibitions have become a traditional meeting place and consolidating platform for representatives of Kazakhstan’s mining and metallurgical community and industry professionals from over 25 countries. Every year, the events demonstrate the latest technologies and advances in the mining industry, which subsequently are used by businesses in Kazakhstan.
