OREANDA-NEWS. April 18, 2011. Jurgen Peschke, President and Chief Executive Officer of the German SIEMAG TECBERG visited the Datong Coal Mine Group. Wu Xingli,Deputy General Manager of the Datong Coal Mine Group,met with Peschke and held a discussion with him on jointly promoting the construction of the Majialiang coal mine and on deepening bilateral cooperation, reported the press-centre of Datong Coal Mine Group.

During their meeting, Wu briefly introduced the basic situation of the Datong Coal Mine Group and its development plan for the 12th Five-Year Plan period(2011-2015). Wu told Peschke as a world famous coal producer, the Datong Coal Mine Group achieved an annual production capacity of 150 million tons in 2010. In the next five years, the group will continue to invest in the construction of a number of mines with an annual capacity of 10 million tons, while at the same time vigorously develop mining machinery manufacturing industry, thus providing a broader space for the future cooperation between the two sides, Wu said. He also expressed his hope that both sides can have a deeper cooperation in mining machinery manufacturing and mine construction to achieve mutual benefit and a win-win situation.

Peschke briefed on SIEMAG TECBERG history, its development and general situation during the meeting. He said the Datong Coal Mine Group is a powerful coal producer with advanced technology, thus laying a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two sides. SIEMAG TECBERG is willing to work together with the group and hopes to establish a more stable strategic cooperative partnership with it, he added.
