OREANDA-NEWS. April 15, 2011. Nordea Bank offers private individuals two new deposits: "Smart Choice" and "Smart Choice+", reported the press-centre of Nordea Bank.

What makes these new deposits special is that the premature withdrawal interest rate thereunder depends on the actual number of days being in deposit.

The interest rates under "Smart Choice" deposit vary from 5 to 7% per annum in RUB, in USD and EUR – from 2.3 to 3.25%. The interest is payable upon maturity.

The interest on "Smart Choice+" deposit is paid monthly by way of crediting the depositor’s current or card account. The interest rates hereunder vary from 4.5 to 6.5% in RUB, in USD or EUR – from 2.1 to 3.2%.

The annual interest rate under both deposits depends on the amount and maturity of a deposit. The minimal amount is 3 000 RUB, 100 USD or 100 EUR. The maturity thereunder ranges from 1 to 3 years.
