Meishan Steel cold rolling tin-plating unit completes its first contract of tin plate exportation to Europe, with the amount of 20 tons and with quality indicators in full compliance with customers' requirements. The successful completion of the contract marks that Meishan Steel's cold rolling quality control capacity and production organization level reach a new stage and that it accumulates valuable experience for accomplishing future contracts with higher standards, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.

European customers has high quality demand on tin plates. For Meishan Steel cold rolling tin-plating unit, the contract is a huge challenge. To expand the European market and improve the tin plate competitiveness, lead by Meishan Steel manufacturing department product engineers and joined by relevant technical staff in steel smelting, hot rolling and cold rolling, a project team is set up to devise production plan.

To avoid performance fluctuations, the project team regulates key process requirements, implements contingency plan and clarifies responsibilities.

With the effective coordination of all sides, the unit produces products successfully. The comprehensive testing shows that product performance, quality and surface flatness are in line with customers' requirements in the agreement and products are delivered according to schedule.
