Belarus Will Change Setting of Minimum Selling Prices of Alcohol
OREANDA-NEWS. April 13, 2011. The Belarusian Economy Ministry will change to setting minimum selling prices of alcohol from fixed prices, Economy Minister Nikolai Snopkov said at a briefing.
“We will work with alcohol prices in accordance with the Common Economic Area agreements,” Snopkov said when explaining the plans.
As for tobacco goods, the minister reminded that in accordance with ordinance #72, state regulation of prices will remain until January 1, 2012. “This year we expect changes in prices of some tobacco products depending on the market situation and performance of the producers,” the minister said.
