Moldovan Refueling Stations Raised Cost of Petrol by 2,9%
OREANDA-NEWS. April 13, 2011. The price for a liter of Ai-95 petrol increased by 0.4 leis, totaling 16.17 leis (USD 1.38); for a liter of diesel oil – by 0.3 leis – to 15.4 leis (USD 1.3). Therefore, the price for petrol has overstepped the barrier of 16 leis for the first time.
As it was reported earlier, the previous rise in price for diesel oil took place on April 4 – from 14.8 leis to 15.1 leis. Petrol’s price rose from 15.37 leis to 15.77 leis on March 14.
Experts say the rise in price for fuel in Moldova totally reflects the situation in the global markets. Particularly, the cost of a barrel of brent oil has increased over the last month (since mid-March) from USD 111.7 to USD 126.6.
The cost of a tone of petrol at the Plastt's oil product market, at prices of which fuel is imported to Moldova, has increased from USD 990 to USD 1,088 for a month, the cost of diesel oil – from USD 992 to USD 1,066.
