OREANDA-NEWS. April 13, 2011. The Chisinau International Airport provided transport services to over 56,120 passengers in March 2011, which makes 10.13 per cent against March 2010.

According to the Chisinau International Airport press service, the most significant increase in the passenger flow was recorded on the following lines: Bucharest, Moscow, Athens, Vienna and London.

The overall passenger turnover hiked by 15.11 per cent in the first three months of 2011 against the same period of 2010, amounting to 171,910 people.

The Chisinau International Airport is Moldova's leading air gate. Presently, 17 air companies are operating charter and permanent flights to/from this airport to 28 international destinations.
