Belarusian Beer Output Doubles in January-March

OJSC Krinitsa, based in
OJSC Olivaria, based in the city of
Heineken Breweries produced 2.111 million decaliters of beer in the period, up 56.3% on the year, and JOJSC Rechitsapivo produced 96,800 decaliters of beer in January-March, down 50.1%. Both companies are controlled by Heineken
OJSC Lidskoe Pivo (Lida Beer), in the Grodno Region, increased beer output 31.6% to 1.375 million decaliters.
OJSC Brest Beer produced 607,200 decaliters of beer, up 31.1%.
Beer output in plastic bottles went up 17.7% to 6.95 million decaliters, in glass bottles rose 6.2% to 1.171 million decaliters, in kegs increased 39.1% to 415,600 decaliters and in cans fell 4% to 57,900 decaliters.
Belarusian beer supplies to domestic wholesalers and retailers increased 13.6% on the year in January-March to 7.105 million decaliters.
Krinitsa sales went down 13.3% to 2.005 million decaliters, Olivaria sales went up 21.2% to 1.501 million decaliters, Lidskoe pivo sales increased 25.9% to 1.148 million decaliters, and sales of Brest Beer went up 10.7% to 467,510 decaliters, of Heineken Breweries increased 61.1% to 1.873 million decaliters and of Rechitsapivo dropped 41.5% to 96,610 decaliters.
