OREANDA-NEWS. April 11, 2011. The underground foundation works for Nanya Copper Foil (Kunshan) Co., Ltd., the largest copper foil manufacturing plant in China, was fulfilled by the Special Engineering Company of Shanghai Baoye Construction Corp., Ltd. (SBC-MCC), reported the press-centre of MCC.

At present, the people of SBC-MCC are busy undertaking the implementation of the upper civil works and the steel structure engineering for this facility, which covers a floorage area of 36,000 square meters. This contracted workshop is expected to be fully completed in September of this year.

Along with the booming up of electronic industry in China in recent years, the supply of high-quality electrolytic copper foil falls short of demand. To meet these demands, Nanya Copper Foil (Kunshan) Co., Ltd., a core subsidiary of Formosa Plastics Group, plans to increase funding of USD 96 million to built up the 3rd copper foil plant basing upon the existing two ones established in past years. Through this program, the annual output capacity of Nanya Copper Foil (Kunshan) is to be increased up to 45,900 tons from 34,200 tons for high-performance electrolytic copper foil.

The staff of the Special Engineering Company determined to continue the meticulous management on the construction works strictly as per the requirements of the engineering contract, fulfill the civil and steel structure works for the 3rd Plant of Nanya Copper Foil (Kunshan) on a quality basis, and spare no efforts to build up a new monument for both the Special Engineering Company and SBC-MCC in Kunshan.
