Baosteel, CCB Signed Cooperation Agreement
OREANDA-NEWS. April 08, 2011. Recently, bank-enterprise cooperation signing ceremony between Baosteel and China Construction Bank(CCB) was held in Baosteel Tower. After signing bank-enterprise cooperation agreement in 2006, the two sides further enhance strategic cooperation and promote mutual development, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.
Baosteel Group Corporation general manager He Wenbo, CCB head office president Zhang Jianguo attended the signing ceremony. Group Corporation vice general manager Zhou Zhuping and CCB head office vice president Chen Zuofu signed bank-enterprise cooperation agreement on behalf of the two sides.
CCB is a joint-stock commercial bank and occupies a leading position in China's financial market. Until last June, China Construction Bank assets reached 10.24 trillion yuan. Its annualized return on average assets reached 1.43% and average return on equity reached 24%, ranking top among international banks, with net income and stock market value ranking the second place among listed banks in the world. Its ranking in the Fortune Global 500 raised from from 315 (five years ago) to 116, which was also the sixth place among Chinese enterprises in 2010, and it ranked first among sustainable development Chinese banks in Asia. Currently, CCB has nine overseas branches and many overseas subsidiaries, with service network covering major global financial centers.
Since Baosteel's first phase construction, China Construction Bank and Baosteel started friendly cooperation. For 30 years, the two sides achieve bank and enterprise new strategic partnership on the basis of independence, equality, credit and mutual benefit and for the purpose of mutual development and win-win situation. The friendly cooperation continues to develop.
