Moldova Reports on Lowest Inflation among CIS States
OREANDA-NEWS. April 08, 2011. Moldova reported the lowest inflation among the CIS states in January-February 2010 in comparison with the same period last year. According to data of the CIS Statistics Committee, the inflation growth in Moldova was 6.1% in January-February 2011 in comparison with the same period of 2010.
In Ukraine, the inflation rate was 7.7%, in Kazakhstan – 8.4%, Azerbaijan – 8.9%, Russia- 9.5%, Armenia – 11.5%, Tajikistan – 11.7%, Belarus – 11.8%. The highest inflation was reported by Kyrgyzstan – 20%.
The inflation in the CIS states in January-February increased by 9.5% in January-February 2011.
