Under Article 28 of No.135-FZ Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” of 26th July 2006, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) has considered a petition of “Hyperfoods Holding” Ltd. on acquiring 75.0002% voting shares of “Udmurtsky Khladokombinat” OJSC (Registration No. 14105 of 17th March 2011), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Having examined the petition, FAS established that the transaction can result in restricting competition on the relevant markets by creating dominant position for the group of persons of “Hyperfoods Holding” Ltd.

Comprehensive market analysis required examining the state of competition on relevant markets.

Governed by Article 33 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”, the Federal Antimonopoly Service extended the period for considering the petition for two month in order to additionally examine the petition and obtain additional information necessary to make a decision with regard to the petition in question.

Interested persons can submit information to the Federal Antimonopoly Service as to how the transaction in question can affect the state of competition.
