OREANDA-NEWS. April 7, 2011. Head of State Migration Service of Azerbaijan Arzu Rahimov has met President of Federal Criminal Police Office of Germany Jorg Sirke.

Under the Migration Service’s report at the meeting A. Rahimov noted that Azerbaijan closely cooperates with Germany in migration sphere. J. Sirke expressed satisfaction with cooperation between the countries and voiced an assurance that future cooperation between Azerbaijan and Germany in migration field will be more productive.

A. Rahimov added that the Azerbaijanis who moved abroad have recently started to come back, which was caused by the country leadership’s task- oriented policy. As a result Azerbaijan has also become attractive for foreign citizens. Prospects of cooperation between the countries in migration field were also discussed at the meeting.
