OREANDA-NEWS. April 6, 2011. Russia will launch the 5th Soyuz in addition to the four nominal in 2013, Roscosmos Head Anatoly Perminov said.

"In line with the contracts with NASA, we have four Soyuz launches per year. On the other hand, we have a lot of proposals to conduct one more launch a year. Currently, we run modification at RSC-Energia in order to have an additional launch in two or three years”, Perminov said.

According to him, the proposals come from Kazakhstan, Ukraine, space tourists.  “We consider the additional launch option to be conducted in 2013”, Roscosmos Head concluded.
