OREANDA-NEWS. April 06, 2011. Sergey Chemezov, Director General of THE RUSSIAN TECHNOLOGIES State Corporation made a presentation of the company in Stuttgart.

The presentation was held with the support of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy and the Daimler Concern. The main subject of the presentation was cooperation in automobile construction and associated industries.

The event started with an opening speech of Gerhard Schrцder, former Chancellor of Germany, on the topic "Vital Aspects of German-Russian Relations" and a greeting speech of Andreas Renschler, member of the Board of Directors of the Daimler Concern.

Russia was represented by the management of Russian Technologies SC as well as AVTOVAZ OJSC and KAMAZ OJSC.

Sergey Chemezov started his speech with a welcoming message of Mr. Putin, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, to all representatives of the Russian and German business community present at the meeting.

The head of the Russian Technologies talked about the structure, aims and objectives of the Corporation and gave a number of examples of its successful cooperation with the leading European automobile manufacturers operating in the Russian market.

Sergey Chemezov said that he hoped that "this meeting will be an effective platform for negotiating the existing and possible areas of mutual cooperation, help make new promising contacts and give an impulse for search and implementation if high-tech industrial projects".

Germany was represented by heads of about 50 industrial enterprises directly involved into automobile construction. They learnt about the role and importance of Russian Technologies State Corporation in the modern Russian economy and got detailed information on technological and cooperation possibilities of enterprises within the Corporation.

The speech of Vladimir Artyakov, governor of the Samara Region, devoted to the establishment of a free economic zone “Tolyati” arouse great interest of German businessmen. Russian Technologies plans to implement a number of projects in the sphere of automobile tyres production as well as in other spheres in the territory of this free economic zone.

At the end of the presentation, the representatives of Russian Technologies and German business community held bilateral negotiations and exchanged opinions on a wide range of issues regarding potential cooperation.

In addition, Mr. Chemezov also held negotiations with Peter Lцscher, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Siemens AG. They discussed cooperation in the sphere of production of power transformers, electric equipment for substation automation etc.

Another presentation of Russian Technologies will take place in Munich on April 07. The subject of the presentation will cover a wider range of activities of the Corporation, including helicopter manufacture, engines construction, aircraft instruments engineering, radio electronics, communication equipment, composite materials, medical equipment and metallurgical engineering.

The event will be held with the support of the EADS Concern and Rohde&Schwarz. Bernd Wenzler, Director General of Cassidian Electronics (EADS) and Akhim Klein, Director General of Rohde&Schwarz, will make an opening speech.

Russia will be represented by Rosoboroneksport SC, VSMPO-Avisma OJSC, Rossiiskaya Elekrtonika OJCS, Russian Helicopters JSC, Aviapriborostroyeniye Concern OJSC, Orion Concern OJSC, Sirius Concern OJSC, Opticheskiye Sistemy i Tekhnologii Scientific and Production Concern OJSC, NIMI FSUE, RT-Khimicheskiye Tekhnologii i Kompositsionnye materialy OJSC, RT-Metallurgiya OJSC, Prominvest LLC, Izhmash Concern OJSC, Bazalt State Scientific and Production Enterprise FSUE, Parashutostroyeniye Scientific and Production Association, and Kompas Moscow Design Bureau OJSC.

The Corporation intends to sign a number of agreements for cooperation with Cassidian and Rohde&Schwarz at bilateral meetings after the presentation.

With account of the fact that Germany is a strategic economic partner of Russia, the presentations of Russian Technologies SC in Stuttgart and Munich will facilitate increased demand for the products of Russian Technologies, higher efficiency of the existing cooperation and setting new vectors of cooperation with major German companies in the sphere of high tech and innovations.

Negotiations with all interested German companies are set to continue during the 10th International Aviation and Space Salon “MAKS-2011”.
