ICBC Named Advanced Unit of Banking Public Education Service Day
OREANDA-NEWS. April 06, 2011. Earlier, ICBC has been named as "2010 Advanced Unit of Banking Public Education Service Day" in an honorary ceremony hosted by China Banking Regulatory Commission, reported the press-centre of ICBC.
In November last year, ICBC launched the campaign of 2010 Public Education on Banking Knowledge in all branches, according to the schedule of China Banking Regulatory Commission and under the high concern and deployment of ICBC. During the campaign, ICBC branches and subsidiaries at all levels made detail preparation to launch a range of promotional activities. Through these activities, ICBC raised public awareness on modern financial and commercial banking knowledge. The activities garnered wide attention and achieved high publicity.
Data shows that more than 400,000 ICBC staffs (in terms of person-times) and 15,000+ outlets took part in these activities. ICBC promotions were launched through different channels: thousands of radios, televisions, newspapers, magazines and network media all over China, outdoor electronic displays, banners and posters at ICBC outlets. Meanwhile, ICBC started innovative campaigns in the form of SMS, outdoor programs, visits to communities, schools, enterprises and institutions. In less than two months ICBC activities reached hundreds of millions of people (in terms of person-times), which significantly lifted up ICBC's reputation and image, and received wide applause from the public.
