Bayi Steel Won Bid in Lanxin High-Speed Railway Project
OREANDA-NEWS. April 06, 2011. In 2010, Bayi Steel Corporation supplied 235,000MT steel for Lanxin high-speed railway project. It won 2011 bid with overwhelming edge for supplying 248,000MT steel for Xinjiang section 14 bales a second time. Till time of news dispatch, it totally supplied 28,740MT steel in 2011, product supply covering over ninety percent in Xinjiang section construction, reported the press-centre of Baosteel.
1776-mile Lanxin high-speed railway with estimated total investment of 143.5billion RMB is China's longest passenger railway in overall operation mileage and western China's longest high-grade railroads stringing Gansu, Qinghai and Xinjiang. Project estimated high-quality steel demand could reach 800,000-1millionMT, among which some were difficult to manufacture.
Bayi Steel Corporation laid great emphasis on Lanxin high-speed railway project. Since project start-up end of 2009, it actively communicated with proprietors, initiated key project tracking mechanism immediately and won the 2010 bid through well preparedness.
To substantially support project supply and service, Bayi Steel set up special group of 24-hour all-on service mode in aspects of marketing policies, resource guarantee, whole process service, transaction and clearance, living up to mentality of "building mobile steel product supermarket, providing customers with one-stop service", receiving praise from proprietors.
Lanxin high-speed railway project started 2011 bidding work at the beginning of the year. Bayi Steel Corporation again won the bidding due to its extraordinary performances in steel supply in 2010. It has since become main steel supplier of the project.
