OREANDA-NEWS. April 05, 2011. The plants and units of KAMAZ have completed the production plan of March and the first quarter of 2011.

The automobile plant, the company’s finishing enterprise manufacturing the main products, has made for customers 4,000 vehicle sets in March and almost 9.9 thousand vehicles for three months of the year. These are, respectively, by 76% and 43% higher than for the same periods in 2010. As compared with February, the volume of manufacture of main products of the automobile plant grew by 445 vehicle sets.

In all, KAMAZ-Diesel and JV CUMMINS KAMA issued and delivered to their customers about 4.5 thousand engines and power units in March and almost 11 thousand for the whole quarter – by 58% and 48.5% more than last year’s performance. The enterprise manufactured by 850 KAMAZ and Cummins engines more than this February.

In March, dealers, service centers and corporate clients of the company have received spare parts for KAMAZ vehicles to the tune of more than USD 1 billion roubles since the beginning of the year – 2.5 billion roubles. The plants and units of KAMAZ delivered customers diversification products of 840 million rubles in March and more than 2 billion roubles for three months of the year. These figures are also significantly higher than the results of the same period in 2010.
